Paste a JSON object, an @graph, or the complete <script type="application/ld+json"> block.
Four Rules For Cleaner Schema
The syntax is the easy part. These are the decisions that stop a valid graph becoming a misleading one.
- 1
One ID per real thing
Give the business, website, page and subject stable IDs, then point references back to them.
- 2
Only describe visible facts
If a claim is not true and visible on the page, leave it out. Smaller accurate graphs beat larger speculative ones.
- 3
Extend the existing emitter
Yoast, Rank Math and other SEO plugins may already publish a graph. Extend that graph instead of adding a competing Organization.
- 4
Test the live output
Validate what the public page actually emits after caches and templates have done their work.
Schema Generator Questions
Does valid schema guarantee a rich result?
No. Valid structured data can make a page eligible for a supported search feature, but Google does not guarantee that it will display one. Many useful schema types exist mainly to clarify entities and relationships.
Why does the generator use one connected graph?
Stable @id values let the website, business, page and subject refer to the same entities instead of restating them as disconnected copies. That makes the markup easier to audit and less ambiguous.
Can I add my Google review rating?
Not to a business’s own Organization or LocalBusiness markup. Google treats those reviews as self-serving and does not show review stars for them. Australian health advertisers also have separate testimonial restrictions.
Does this checker replace Google’s Rich Results Test?
No. This catches common graph, syntax and Australian business issues in your browser. Run the finished live URL through Google’s Rich Results Test and Schema.org Validator as the final checks.
Does Uppercut save the schema I enter?
No. Generation and checking happen in your browser. The values are not sent to Uppercut, saved or added to a lead form.
Does the generator add schema to my website automatically?
No. It generates JSON-LD that you can copy or download, and checks markup you paste into the checker. Publishing it to your website is a separate step. Review any schema your site already emits before adding the new graph, so the same business or page is not described by competing copies. Then check the markup on the live page.
Need The Graph Implemented Properly?
We can audit what your site already emits, remove competing entities and connect the right schema to the right templates.
